The AP2 Monochrome Digital Address Printer with Integrated Feeder combines user-friendly features in a rugged, compact machine. Using thermal inkjet technology, it can print up to 22,000 #10 envelopes an hour, with variable print resolutions up to 600 dpi, and the ability to print on a variety of coated and uncoated paper stocks.
Its 4.5” color touchscreen features an adjustable backlight, and allows users full control of its functions, including the ability to store and recall common print jobs, up to 16GB. The integrated feeder holds up to 500 #10 envelopes at a time, and can handle materials up to 1/4” thick. The fixed print head uses 4 proprietary inkjet cartridges simultaneously to produce an image area up to 2” x 15”, and can be adjusted to a maximum vertical print range of 10.75”.
Additional user-friendly features include on-screen ink monitoring for both % used and approximate pieces remaining; USB 3.0/LAN connectivity; the ability to print any TrueType font; spot color capability; batch/job/lifetime counters; and the capacity to print on UV paper stocks. An optional 3-foot conveyor stacker is available for easy handling after printing.
